It’s Monday Night and You Know What That Means

The boys are back to talk all things wrestling. Tony Play’s a Thunderfrog liner AGAIN, to kick off the show, and the boys are disappointed. So we decide to play a bunch of liners to see what could have been played instead of Thunderfrog.

From there we catch up with each other, Tony’s got a new bathroom with a toilet as high as a tennis judges chair, Matt has a new deck and Kevin has a bunch of questions.

We jump right into the Ric Flair match announcement.

Raw reportedly going to TV 14, does this mean a new era for wrestling?

Tony brings up Mick Foley signing a new Legacy deal, and we ponder on if the Vince McMahon headlines will have any impact.

We hit on MLW Fusion’s last episode of the year, a jam packed show with Hammerstone vs Holiday

We talk some AEW, and finally get to the root of why Tony isn’t the biggest fan of AEW. We hit on some Dynamite and Rampage, plus some ROH Death Before Dishonor.

Raising the championship belt after vanquishing the champion is the dream. But there have ben matches and angles where the secondary titles i.e. WWE/F Intercontinental and NWA/WCW US title have surpassed The Big One in terms of storytelling and fan interest. Steamboat/Savage at Mania 3 is widely considered the greatest match of all time. The Magnum/Nikita Great American Bash series had the sport on the edge of their seats. And Brett Hart/British Bulldog packed Wembley Stadium. So this time we’re doing a deep dive into into these amazing moments. As well we get into the mcmahon accusations, Jeff Hardy’s current woes, and pay tribute to two of the sport’s finest referees. So grab a beer and join your 3/4 Horsemen of the Apodcalypse. Compared to last weeks episode on the 1997 Bash at the Beach this show is a step back in some regards to the matches and on the large roster at this time in WCW. Justin and RJ rant about a few of the highlights of this show but also have some not so good things to say about a few of the matches and segments on this pay per view. We also add four more themes to our list getting it up to 91 themes.

Now here’s an outfit that makes us howl! T.O.’s Deadwolff impressed us last year when their self titled EP came across our desk. The ‘Wolff are a cool Canadian trio heavily influenced by the early 80s HR/NWOBHM with a modern flare. So when they recently came through town we jumped at the opportunity to turn a Wednesday night into a Saturday night! We sat down with the entire pack and go over the whys and wherefores behind the howl. In our “News, Views and Tunes”, we go over the Vince Neil teleprompter “controversy”. We are then joined by the Dominican Destroyer Vargas ahead of his huge match against Brian Myers. We talk Create a Pro/WrestlePro, tag team vs Singles, the New York Jets, and what to expect from him on July 24th and much more. It’s a great introduction to Vargas
