[Spoilers for Game of Thrones Seasons 1-6. No Season 7 Spoilers]

[Mild-spoilers for all Christopher Nolan movies prior to Dunkirk]

Joe and Dave Must Go Deeper into the work of Christopher Nolan. They must first establish a series of intricate rules, then break them all in inventive visual flourishes. Finally, they reveal the mystery which leaves the audience spellbound... ... or underwhelmed.

Joe is joined by writer, director, producer, Shaun O'Connor to tackle the beast once more. You can also check out episode 16, wherein we dissect the franchise in all its bloody, gory glory.

[SPOILER-FREE FOR ALIEN: COVENANT]

Joe is joined by writer, director, producer Shaun O'Connor to talk about a malevolent mega-corporation run by a megalomaniac, which shows wanton disregard for crew and public in favour of a species as profitable as it is dangerous...

... but enough about 20th Century Fox! We're here to discuss the Weyland Yutani Corporation and its beloved Alien.

Alien: Covenant will be discussed on the next Shitegeist.

With so many quality streaming services available, it's easy to get swept away. Kobi and Helen of the excellent Flixwatcher podcast join Joe and Dave as they dive headlong into the current.

From the origins of the movie trailer to modern examples of studios getting them right (and wrong), join your hosts on an exploration of movie marketing, with the usual listener questions and unrelated tangents along the way.

Joe and Dave discuss live-action remakes of classic animated stories, both recent and future, and suggest some remakes they would like to see come to life.

What could two armchair pundits possibly add to the sea of discussion surrounding the 2017 Academy Awards? 45 minutes, apparently.

With Academy Award season upon us, we look and listen to this year's hopefuls, as well as hits and misses from the past. Capably guiding us on our Oscar odyssey is music-man John Boyle, whose punditry packs a punch, and whose notes will be music to your ears.
