In this introductory episode of the new Shock Talk podcast, we meet our two co-hosts: Rob Gerlach and Jacob O'Connor. Rob runs WSU's Tech Transfer office and Jacob is a current WSU student and host of the Venture Mentality podcast. Rob and Jacob briefly hit on the rich history of Wichita  (Pizza Hut, White Castle, etc.) and the future innovation to come. They also discuss the schedule and intention for this show and what to expect (this information can be found below).

WSU Ventures first episode for its new podcast, SHOCK TALK.

This episode is co-hosted by Hanna Chastain (Student Analyst) and Rob Gerlach (Director of IP and Tech Transfer at WSU).  At the beginning of the episode, we hear from Dr. Golden and his vision of thinking big and bold.  WSU Ventures response: the Gateway to IP program.  We briefly discuss what is IP before introducing the program and talking about why it is relevant to the Wichita community.
