Another week of Chicago baseball is in the books and another episode of the Shoeless Goat Podcast is here!  Nick and Pat recap identical 4-3 weeks for the first place Cubs and White Sox, although the two teams' weeks felt different.  Other topics include the Anthony Rizzo-Willson Contreras scuffle, Tony La Russa passing John McGraw, and Fernando Tatis Jr. overload.

In this week's latest Shoeless Goat Podcast, Pat rejoices as the Sox swept the Twins for the first time in 5 years, finally becoming the bully.  Meanwhile as the Sox soar in first place, Nick recaps a much more mellow week on the North Side as the Cubs fell in Cleveland but recovered in Detroit.  For the Sox, Jose Abreu's comeback from a frightening collision ultimately set the tone for the week, and for the Cubs Joc Pederson finally began to show some life.

After a week of fire and brimstone woke up the Cubs, Nick (Anton) is back on this week's Shoeless Goat Podcast to recap the Cubs sweeping the Dodgers and more.  On the South Side, Pat recaps a week that left the White Sox in first place.  In other segments, the guys talk about Yasmani Grandal's unique slash line, proper MLB jersey etiquette, a continuation of the No Hitter Draft, and a shoutout to Normal Cornbelter Legend Jose Canseco.

On this week's Shoeless Goat Podcast, Pat is joined by Nick Philips of the Go With the Flow and Spread Option podcast to discuss the past week in Chicago baseball.  While the Sox stood pat in the standings, this Nick is here to bring the fire and brimstone for a brutal week on the North Side for the Cubs.  The guys discuss everything from the Luis Robert injury, to Kris Bryant's impending free agency, to the Javy Baez-Amir Garrett bruhaha.

The passing of the torch claims from last week may have been premature, as the Cubs and White Sox both had solid weeks.  While the Cubs' bats have started to wake up, Nick tries to temper expectations.  Likewise on the South Side, Michael Kopech looks like the real deal, but Pat pumps the brakes on the calls for him to start.  Other topics include the continued supernova of Yermin Mercedes, a discussion on MadBum's Mickey Mouse No Hitter, and the official launch of our No Hitter Draft.
