Shook-Ow…At The Buzzer

Welcome to "Shook-Ow… At The Buzzer" with me your host, E! Giannis Antetokounmpo (IG:@giannis_an34) still hasn’t given the Milwaukee Bucks or enthusiasts a clear answer on his future. On a livestream with @IShowSpeed, Giannis was asked directly if he plans to stay in Milwaukee or if a trade could happen. His response kind of left everyone wondering what’s next. I’ll play a clip from “First Take” where Brian Windhorst (X:@WindhorstESPN) breaks down Giannis’ answer, and I’ll share my honest reaction. Plus, 2025 #1 NBA Draft pick Cooper Flagg (IG:@cooper_flagg) made his Summer League debut with the Mavericks against the Lakers. Even though Flagg struggled shooting, he did just about everything else to help Dallas get the win. I’ll play a clip from “Locked On Mavericks” talking about Flagg’s debut, and I’ll tell you why I think undrafted rookie Ryan Nembhard (IG:@rnembhard0) actually stole the show. And I’ll also discuss Bronny James’ (IG:@bronny) Summer League performance from last night. All that is next right here, on "Shook-Ow...At The Buzzer". Please make sure to hit that follow button on Spotify, comment and share the show if you like what heard! Thank you in advance...peace.

Welcome to "Shook-Ow… At The Buzzer" with me your host, E! The Denver Nuggets traded Dario Šarić (IG:@megalodon20) to the Sacramento Kings for Jonas Valančiūnas (IG:@jvalanciunas), but new reports say Valančiūnas might actually prefer playing in the EuroLeague to be closer to family. I’ll play you a clip from “Locked On Nuggets” analyzing what this could mean for Denver’s future and share my take as well. Plus, Detroit Pistons guard Malik Beasley (IG:@mbeasy5) is now under investigation in a federal betting probe. Now we know this comes after Jontay Porter (Michael Porter Jr.’s brother), received a lifetime ban for violating the NBA gambling policies last season. I’ll play a clip from the “Road Trippin” podcast discussing Beasley’s investigation and tell you how I really feel about this foolishness. All that is next right here, on "Shook-Ow...At The Buzzer". Welcome to "Shook-Ow… At The Buzzer" with me your host, E! The Golden State Warriors seem to be ready to trade Jonathan Kuminga (IG:@jonathan_kuminga), but is it too late to find the right team? I’ll play a clip from “Locked On Warriors” where they break down what it could cost to move Kuminga and which teams are showing strong interest right now. Plus, the Phoenix Suns have been trying to trade Bradley Beal (IG: @bradbeal3) since the trade deadline, but his no-trade clause is making everything complicated. I’ll share a clip from “Brian Windhorst & The Hoop Collective” where they talk about this Phoenix Suns and Bradley Beal situation and what this could mean for the Suns’ future. All that is next right here, on "Shook-Ow...At The Buzzer". Please make sure to hit that follow button on Spotify, comment and share the show if you like what heard! Thank you in advance...peace.

Welcome to "Shook-Ow… At The Buzzer" with me your host, E! The New York Knicks finally find their next head coach. Mike Brown will take over in New York after two interviews. I have a clip from Stephen A. Smith (X:@stephenasmith)saying something interesting about this hire for his Knicks. Also Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (X:@shaiglalex) gets the bank from the OKC Thunder with a 4 year $285 million contract. Can’t complain about that pay for the NBA leading scorer, MVP, Finals MVP and NBA champion. SGA wasn’t the only one that got paid. Memphis Grizzlies’ agreed with 2x All Star and former Defensive Player of The Year Jaren Jackson Jr. (IG:@jaren) on a five-year, $240 million maximum contract extension. However this isn’t the only reason “JJJ” is in the news. Jackson suffered a turf toe injury that will require surgery. I have a clip from “Locked On Grizzlies” talk about this injury. Plus the Milwaukee Bucks waive Damian Lillard (IG:@damianlillard) which will put them in somewhat of a financial hole in the future. They sign Myles Turner (IG:@turner_myles) from the Pacers to a four-year $107 million contract. Last the Los Angeles Lakers found their center. They sign Deandre Ayton (IG:@deandreayton) to a two-year $16.6 million contract. I’ll give my reaction to this and the other news. All this is next right here, on "Shook-Ow...At The Buzzer". Welcome to "Shook-Ow… At The Buzzer" with me your host, E! Today I’m talking about the #5 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, Ace Bailey (IG:@acebailey). His pre-draft strategy was shocking – he didn’t do a single pre-draft workout or interview because he wanted to land with the Wizards, Pelicans, or Nets. But instead, Ace Bailey got drafted by the Utah Jazz. Did his plan backfire? I’ll play a clip from “Locked On NBA” discussing Ace Bailey’s pre-draft strategy. Also, Dallas Mavericks GM Nico Harrison held a press conference last week to discuss the team’s present and future. I’ve got two important clips from his presser, and I’ll give you my full reaction. Finally, the Portland Trail Blazers will not pick up Deandre Ayton’s (IG:@deandreayton) team option, making him an NBA free agent. The big question is: Would Deandre Ayton be a good fit for the Los Angeles Lakers? I have Kendrick Perkins’ (X:@KendrickPerkins) take on it and I’ll share mine too. All this is next right here, on "Shook-Ow...At The Buzzer". Please make sure to hit that follow button on Spotify, comment and share the show if you like what you're hearing! Welcome to "Shook-Ow… At The Buzzer" with me your host, E! The Washington Wizards trade Jordan Poole (IG:@jordan_poole), Saddiq Bey (IG:@saddiq.bey), and the #40 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft to the New Orleans Pelicans for CJ McCollum (IG:@3jmccollum), Kelly Olynyk (IG:@kellyolynyk), and a future second-round pick. It looks like the Wizards are adding veterans to help lead their young team and help build a winning culture. Now the Pelicans' make really a bold move in my eyes—pairing Poole with Dejounte Murray (IG:@dejountemurray). Could this new backcourt become one of the best in the league if Poole returns to his Golden State Warriors form? Plus, the Boston Celtics are active in the trade market, sending Jrue Holiday (IG:@jrue_holiday11) to the Portland Trail Blazers for Anfernee Simons (IG:@antsimons) and two future second-round picks. I have a clip from “Get Up” discussing this trade. The Celtics weren’t done just yet. Celtics were involved in a 3 team trade. They traded Kristaps Porzingis (IG:@kporzee) and a second-round pick to the Hawks for Georges Niang (IG:@georgesniang) and a second-round pick plus the Nets received Terance Mann (IG:@terance) and the 22nd pick in the 2025 draft. This came off as a money dump from the Celtics who are trying to get out of the second apron and maybe out of the luxury tax. Finally, the Oklahoma City Thunder’s championship run was some special and now the talk is a possible NBA dynasty. I’ll play clip “The Dan Patrick Show” that you don’t want to miss—then I give you my take on this topic. All this is next right here, on "Shook-Ow...At The Buzzer". Welcome to "Shook-Ow… At The Buzzer" with me your host, E! The Oklahoma City Thunder are NBA champions for the first time in franchise history after a Game 7 win over the Indiana Pacers! OKC’s dominant season ends with the trophy. However for Indiana Pacers enthusiast it wasn’t just a loss they broke their hearts but also star Tyrese Haliburton (IG:@tyresehaliburton) suffered a torn right Achilles after a hot start (3-5 FG in just 7 minutes). With Haliburton already dealing with a calf strain from Game 5, many fans are now questioning whether he should’ve played in Game 6 and 7 at all. I’ve got a key clip from “Locked On Pacers” and my full reaction. Plus, major NBA trade news: Kevin Durant (X:@KDTrey5) is headed to the Houston Rockets! The Suns get Jalen Green (IG:@jalen), Dillon Brooks (IG:@dillonbrooks24), the #10 pick in this year’s draft, and five future second-rounders. Hear what “Locked On Rockets” had to say about this trade. Plus I have to ask did the Suns get enough for KD? I’ll let yall know my thoughts on this. All this is next right here, on "Shook-Ow...At The Buzzer". Please make sure to hit that follow button on Spotify, comment and share the show if you like what you're hearing! Welcome to "Shook-Ow… At The Buzzer" with me your host, E! The Oklahoma City Thunder take Game 5 thanks to a career night from Jalen Williams (IG:@jalenjdubwilliams), who torched the Pacers for 40 points. It looked like J-Dub was just running a practice drill—Indiana had no answers. But the biggest headline from this NBA Playoffs thriller might not be Jalen’s scoring. Tyrese Haliburton (IG:@tyresehaliburton) suffered an injury during the game and it’s believed to be a calf strain. Which is now raising big questions about his availability for Game 6. ESPN’s Chris Canty (IG:@chriscanty99) called out Haliburton on ESPN radio show “Unsportsmanlike”, saying he should’ve taken himself out the game. I’ve got the full clip—and my unfiltered reaction to the Haliburton injury. All this is next right here, on "Shook-Ow...At The Buzzer". Welcome to "Shook-Ow… At The Buzzer" with me your host, E! The Memphis Grizzlies trade Desmond Bane (IG:@_dbane1) to the Orlando Magic for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (IG:@caldwellpope), Cole Anthony (IG:@the_cole.anthony), four first-round picks, and a pick swap! Are the Grizzlies building for a major move or for the future? Hear from Brian Windhorst (X:@WindhorstESPN) as he breaks down this trade, and my reaction as well. The Oklahoma City Thunder come back in Game 4 of the NBA Finals, tying the series 2-2 and regaining home court advantage. It’s now a best-of-three series with everything on the line! The Indiana Pacers looked in control—until the Thunder’s explosive fourth quarter flipped the game. I’ve got a clip from “Locked On Thunder” breaking it down. Also I’ll give what I think the biggest Game 5 keys are to victory for both teams. Don’t miss out on insight from “Locked On NBA” about the key adjustments that each team needs to make, plus my own thoughts on what it’ll take in Game 5 to win. Welcome to "Shook-Ow… At The Buzzer" with me your host, E! The Indiana Pacers now lead the NBA Finals 2-1 after a huge Game 3 win at home! Their bench came up big, with Bennedict Mathurin (IG:@bennedict), T.J. McConnell (IG:@tjmcconnell), and Obi Toppin (IG:@obitoppin_1) stepping up and setting the tone. The Pacers forced the Thunder to play their style of basketball and they played the type of defense on the Thunder that we’re use to seeing the Thunder play against their opponents. I’ve got a clip from “The Athletic: NBA Daily” podcast discussing Game 3 and I’ll give my take on what to expect in tonight’s critical Game 4. Plus, Shams Charania (X:@ShamsCharania) dropped a list of five potential teams that could trade for Kevin Durant (X:@KDTrey5) this offseason. I’ll play a clip from “Locked On Suns” on this topic plus share which team I think KD should go to. All this is next right here, on "Shook-Ow...At The Buzzer".
