It's been minute since Alex and Benaiah linked up, so they start the first half of the pod catching up about recent events in the stratosphere. The crew then gets into the topic discussing the difference between Culture and Values in corporate America (14:20). The boys close out the pod talking about the upcoming Ashanti vs. Keyshia Cole Verzuz and 2020 as a whole music wise. 

The crew starts off calling out predatory men as the horrific events regarding Brittany Correri and the Hinge date gone wrong has come to the light (2:33). On a lighter note, the guys are here for #fleets, but feel for snapchat as the big dawgs are constantly taking their whole flow (9:37).

The boys chop it up about where they are currently at in the year and the complexeties they face navigating their careers (18:15). They close out the pod congratulating Kamala Harris and Joe Biden on the historic presidential win (43:38).

The boys react to the 2020 Presidential Election and briefly talk about how to navigate work while stressing about the state of the nation.

Alex and Benaiah break down the complexities of the relationship between a manager and an employee, while also addressing working with people that you may not like.

The boys are back! During the last episode before the US Presidential election, the boys call out Lil Wayne, and the rest of the irresponsible celebrities for using their platform for fu**ry (4:11). They then call out Umi Sushi restaurant who did not serve a black man for wearing a pair of sneakers, that someone else who was served (and not black) was wearing (10:18). Then the crew breaks down the complexities of a relationship between a manager and an employee. The boys close out the pod shouting out the BET Hip Hop Awards powerful Cypher led by some of our Black Queens. Big Ups (44:04)!

Where do work and social media meet? Should they meet? The boys get into the complexities of navigating a corporate career and keeping it authentic on social media.

Alex & Benaiah start the pod off calling out SARS and the injustice going on in Nigeria (3:42). Rudy Gulliani got mixed up in some mess with the man the myth the legend…. Borat? You know the crew had to address (9:45). The boys then discuss separating church and state as it pertains to work and social media (15:03). Lastly…. Burden of Proof. Benny The Butcher released what seems to be the album of the year. The boys show love (41:11).

Alex and Benaiah are joined by Jabari Shaw, an IP attorney who currently works for Vorys, as they discuss what the actual f**k work life balance looks like in 2020. 

The crew calls out Ice Cube for serving as an “advisor” and collaborating with the Trump campaign (1:20). They then get into the NFL’s poor handling of the 2020-2021 league season in the midst of a pandemic (6:35). The guys then discuss the variations of a workday and what work life balance looks like for them (12:30). Finally they show some love to Netflix for highlighting that nostalgic black content including One on One, Moesha, Half and Half, The Parkers, and more (47:48).

Alex & Benaiah chop it up about the mass murder of Porcupines, Danny Green's game 5, and tips and tricks navigating the job search process. They also S/O Kamala Harris for her historic debate showing. 

This episode starts off with Alex & Benaiah addressing the missing link. Mony Hawk will never be forgotten! The boys get straight into the greatest presidential debate of all time (1:20). They couldn’t avoid talking about it and it lead them to the speaking on the topic of taboo topics in the workplace (10:43). What’s cool to bring up, what’s not, and how to know. Lastly the crew gives a big S/O to Rihanna for coming through with the Fenty for men. (41:30).

Back again for episode 2! The gang calls out Lori Loughlin and this nasty nasty system for allowing her to choose where she serves time in JAIL (2:30). Also, allegedly ICE is performing hysterectomies on migrant women..... So yeah, they got into that (7:07). The team then honors the legacy of Ruth Bader Ginsburg and talks about the struggles of women in the workplace (12:08). Bri Woods joins the pod to discuss. In the end the team shouts out Naomi Osaka for her fearlessness to address topics that matter (50:14).
