Today we talk Community Marketing with the CEO of PitCrew Loyalty, Jeff Rudnick. Jeff is an industry veteran being involved with many companies that focus on building community through loyalty programs. Now, Jeff and his PitCrew team have developed an easy button integration with TekMetric (the leading Shop Management Software) so that your service counter personnel have live data on client reward activity which in turn helps raise your RO totals and client satisfaction.
Thanks For listening! A new adventure begins for Shop Soup as we grow into Soup Radio. A little change of the name and a bigger change in the format. This episode is a complete test of a combination of software solutions that can stitch a show together.
Welcome to SoupRadio! The Only Internet Radio Station dedicated to the Automotive Aftermarket.
Today it's all about a recap from the amazing weekend spent at TOOLS Conference in Lancaster, PA. Top educators, instructors, trainers and vendors were in attendance all to benefit the continuing needs of techs and owners alike.
Plenty to talk about so let's do it.
Welcome to ShopSoup. Different episode. Different recipe. Hey, what happens when your Superman cape gets a tear, a stain or shreds a little? I mean, you always can't stay 30 for ever, right? Father time has a way of working on you, your health, your mental make up and it all will come down to how you operate your business.
Welcome to ShopSoup! Different show. Different batch. Glad you're here. For this episode it's about putting two weeks of Texas style training to use in the shop. One that showcased hospitality and speed of service, to the other that focused on knowing your numbers and how they help you understand your business. Both equally important to a small business owner.
I kind of wrap it up with comparing what I learned or should say, re-confirmed with a trip to New York City the other day with my family, where a good time was enhanced by great service where every we went. Parallels for sure.
Welcome to ShopSoup. Another batch simmered up for your listening pleasure.
No Time For Death
Sounds like a good movie title.
The holidays are supposed to be a time of joy, family and friends. Gifts, smiles, breaking bread and sharing stories and traditions. But what if you can’t feel that?
What if you can’t break through like George Baily to celebrate that “wonderful life”?
It’s a very personal and raw show today because that’s where I’m at for the closing of 2024; a year filled with just about anything there could be to knock a person down and yet, they’re still standing.
Dealing with the loss of two parents 7 months apart while keeping all things moving forward is and has been an incredible, stressful experience. If it wasn’t for the responsibility of taking care of others I probably would have caved in a long time ago. There hasn't been the time for me (yet) to reflect on the life and times with my parents and just maybe there will never be that time.
Welcome to Shop Soup. This episode is all about confidence. Team members and family included. As owners, we face times when one of our team members is going through an emotional rough patch. As a father, it's different when a family member is one of them.
It takes time to build up a person so that they become better at what you've hired them for and even more so, become a better person. People aren't throw-aways. They are too valuable even when they think "they're not worthy".
Welcome to ShopSoup! This episode is so much more than music from an up and coming Country music star, songwriter and social influencer. It's her journey from her first song hit to opening for legends like Kieth Urban, Little Big Town and her idle, Miranda Lambert.
Beyond music, Claudia talks about her business life - selling merchandise and developing her own brand of coffee and whiskey. There are so many good lessons that she talks about that can benefit any one aspiring to becoming a singer or an entrepreneur.
Take a listen and hope you'll enjoy the conversation Claudia shares.

Welcome to Beyond The Shop here on ShopSoup! Today we have a special guest, Mr. Ryan Kunhle (Koon-lee) and we're going to talk about what drives hime to do what he does as an instructor for a local technical high school in Downingtown, PA.
Ryan was a former automotive shop owner and was pretty successful. But it didn't full fill him like he thought it would. Yes, there were challenges, but something seemed off. Ryan began questioning himself and his career. At a twenty group meeting in Colorado, Ryan was crying in his beer sitting next to Monty Dvbvig, who simply asked the question, "so what DO you want to do". Ryan takes it from there...
