There's been plenty of powerful words spoken in the past from Lincoln to Martin Luther King Jr, but none as powerful as the words of Jesus. With his words, he healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, cast out demons and raised the dead. In this podcast, I talk about the relationship between the Word of God and the miracles of Jesus.

Sometimes the parable of the Vinyard and how God's grace works goes over the heads of kids, as well as us. It's hard to wrap your head around if you look at it from a fairness point of view. In this episode I relate this parable to the game of tag and simplify it a little. This one is short and sweet!

Jesus was great at using parables that not only taught about the character of God, but did so in a way that related to the culture of the time. This episode is my attempt at a modern day parable, nothing like Jesus, but hopefully still a lesson to be learned!

Well the short answer is no, of course not. Make America Great Again should be the goal of every American. America is great for so many reasons including that it's foundations were laid on the Bible which help to set up a system of government like nothing else in the world. While we have our dark moments in our history, we also had and still have the ability to fix those problems. Even in our bad times, we are the greatest country on earth! So let's discuss what Making America Great Again is really all about!

We've all heard the phrase "never forget" or "never again" but do we ever actually follow through? Maybe if we would have remembered and listened to Jesus, we wouldn't have had all the other tragedies to never forget.

Time is such a huge part of our daily lives, yet we never think about it being created by God. This episode takes a quick dive into this idea of time as well as a few other random thoughts.

We know that we need to have Jesus in our hearts, but what does that really mean? I take a stab at trying to explain it in this episode using the Bible, and the phrase "I love you, but right now I don't like you."

On this episode I hit three different subjects in a sort of rapid fire way. I begin with a quick overview of the Roe decision, talk about the 3/5 compromise and finish with a quick lesson involving a camper, some rot, lots of repairs and God. 2 Timothy 2:23‭-‬26 (NIV) tells us : "Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.

When it comes to the abortion debate, I don't think either side takes this to heart. Instead we get fired up and some even resort to violence. A subject that should be a moral debate has been hijacked by politics and as is usual, it is used as a wedge issue in an attempt to win elections. In the end, we all lose.

Often we think that the more we learn in science, the less we need God. That God is there to simply fill in the gaps that science can't explain. The truth is, the more we learn, the more science backs the existence of the God we know and love as Christians!
