But what about when the wheels fall off? When God seems distant or absent? When what used to make sense doesn't anymore? It's easy to get caught up and consumed in the immediacy of our day-to-day life and forget the bigger picture of what’s going on in the world around us. For that reason we appreciate the opportunity we have together on Sundays to be reminded about a much bigger perspective of our lives, a much larger picture of our world and a more expansive reality of what God is up to. This Sunday Tim Wood is sharing around this idea as he explores the difficult, liberating, counter-cultural and counter-intuitive nature of the “Unfortunate News" that Jesus offers us.
