Short: Meta Warns EU It May Have to Pull Facebook and IG
These past two weeks, Meta Platforms Inc. have repeatedly threatened to pull services such as Facebook and Instagram from the European Union over data handling concerns. The platform announced that if it could not continue sending EU user data to the US, it would “likely be unable to offer a number of our most significant products and services, including Facebook and Instagram, in Europe.”
