Berberine. Nature's Ozempic? Or just another supplement for the weary?
Berberine has been a staple in Traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine for thousands of years—used to support gut health, fight infections, and reduce inflammation.
Today, modern research is spotlighting its potential for blood sugar control, weight management, and cardiovascular health. Is it truly nature’s version of Ozempic, or just another supplement trend? Tune in to explore the science, history, and hype behind berberine.
If this can truly help manage blood sugar control, it may well be a game changer for those who don't want the cost or who can't use Ozempic, Wegovy, or Mounjaro. You can order it online or purchase it over the counter, unlike other GLP-1 medications.

We break down the science, dosage concerns, sugar content, risks of mixing too many, and whether gummies are really worth it compared to pills.
Stay informed before you chew.
The things that need to be considered:

Semaglutide GLP-1 & Weight Loss: What to know to keep the weight off.
Thinking about weight loss medications like Wegovy®, Mounjaro®, or Saxenda®? A GLP-1 weight loss medication?

The USA EPISODE - From one Donald to the other Donald.
We have a growing number of US listeners, for reasons unknown to us. We wanted to recognise them and celebrate this. So here is the American episode. Donny Singe (AKA Donald) didn't see this coming, talking about President Donald Trump (Donny), and how he would, and could, fix the health of all beautiful Americans if tapped on the shoulder, and would have had he been elected again. Mmmm, you can decide.

Collagen - A big business for a reason. Injury, Recovery, Skin, Ligaments, Tendons, and it naturally decreases from the late 20s. Got your attention?
This is non-negotiable. The Physio recommended it when I got injured. Have not looked back since.
Collagen makes up nearly 30% of the body’s protein, giving strength and structure to skin, muscles, bones, and connective tissue. But as we age, our natural collagen declines—and not all powders are created equal, and neither is their pricing, for a reason.

Protein. Muscle Insurance.
Mobility, capability, and quality of life all depend on one thing: muscle. As we age, preserving it becomes increasingly critical.
In this episode, we explore why protein is the ultimate “muscle insurance,” the benefits of getting it right, and how much you really need. We break down the different types of protein powders (they’re not all equal), the key role of leucine, and what science says about protein’s role in aging well.
Whether you’re choosing between whey, casein, plant-based, or blends, you’ll learn how to fuel your body for strength and longevity.

GET THE BASICS RIGHT
Walk before you run. Literally.
It’s tempting to dive headfirst into the latest health trend, fitness hack, or supplement fad. However, without a strong foundation, those efforts often fail to take hold. The truth is that long-term health and performance come from getting the training basics right first. Starting in the right place and at the right pace will set you up for longer-term success.
Start simple. Prioritise movement—such as walking, stretching, and incorporating daily activity into your routine—before transitioning into high-intensity training.
Once those fundamentals are in place, then layer on smarter supplementation, advanced training, and more structured routines. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned athlete, the basics never stop mattering. Build on them, and you build sustainability—for strength, for longevity, and for life.
