After a string of bizarre disappearances sweep the streets of Gonniford City, Sean Ashby, a young shop clerk, happens across a mysterious stranger speaking in riddles. He soon learns that he is the latest recipient of a cursed coin tied to the victims of the wicked Time Killer, Samael. Sean must band together with old and new friends alike in a dangerous game of cat and mouse across time. Only their wit and courage, under increasingly perilous circumstances, may see them overcome their tormentor and save the ones they love.

The year is 2036. The world stands on the cusp of an unparalleled medical breakthrough. Lead Researcher, Robert Lyndon and his team of scientists have finally unearthed sufficient samples of the elusive species known as 'Crye'; the chitin of which holds the key to regenerative cell growth. As the team begin their final journey aboard the deep sea vessel Proteus, unexpected circumstances will not only threaten the lives of the crew, but millions on the surface above. With power low and the situation critical, Captain Todd McAllister and his crew must battle a race against time to save their samples, the sub, and themselves.
