He soon learns that he is the latest recipient of a cursed coin tied to the victims of the wicked Time Killer, Samael. Sean must band together with old and new friends alike in a dangerous game of cat and mouse across time. Only their wit and courage, under increasingly perilous circumstances, may see them overcome their tormentor and save the ones they love.

          Killing Time - a multi-season, full-cast sci-fi, mystery series releasing in 2023. What better way to celebrate two years of Short Tale Sounds?
          Killing Time is the story of Sean Ashby, a young man struggling with identity in the arduous world around him. After a nomadic life of broken homes and false starts, all Sean Ashby wants is to find his place in this world. That is, until a mysterious stranger speaking in riddles hands him a coin from 2042. Sean soon learns that he is the latest recipient of a cursed token which is handed from victim to victim. Hunted by the insidious Time Killer, Samael, from a pocket universe called The Timeless Place, Sean must band together with his friends of old and unlikely new allies in a game of cat and mouse across time. From the distant past to the far prospective future, only their whit and courage - under increasingly perilous circumstances - may see them overcome their tormentor, to save the ones they love.
          The series promises a story of action and intrigue, with diverse and original characters, and will push the boundaries of audio drama storytelling, furthering the cinematic sound design and narratives intrinsic to Short Tale Sounds. Killing Time will span a variety of genres, across mystery, crime thriller-horror, sci-fi, but also coming of age and drama.

        • Killing Time - Concept Scene

          We’re currently in pre-production but wanted to craft one of our scenes to give audiences a taste of what’s to come. This scene is taken from Episode One of Killing Time. It follows our protagonist, Sean, as he is handed a cursed time travelling token by a most peculiar stranger. The series centres on Sean as he is ruthlessly hunted down in a game of cat and mouse across time. Unexpected alliances may be the only way for Sean to survive and save the ones he loves.
          We want to make this project really special and to our highest standard yet; but only with your help in reaching our Crowdfunder targets can this be realised. If you like what you’ve heard so far, rest assured, there’s plenty more to come. If you love mystery, thriller, horror, sci-fi, and drama - then Killing Time is for you.
