EV strikes again, people are now losing their jobs in Ohio. To hit zero emissions for the trucking fleet it will cost 1 trillion which really means 10 trillion. US population moving away from blue cities. Tariffs are working, this is why Biden didn't remove them, if he removed them the people would know. Countries are moving back to gold. The [DS] just played their hand, they found Trump guilty. The shot heard around the world. The people are going to rally around Trump. He just set the precedent, next he needs to remove the President's immunity and he wants the D's to push to remove the immunity from Presidents. Automotive News noted that the Toluca Assembly Plant already manufactures the Jeep Compass.

Moreno is among those who have long warned that the left’s pursuit of EVs will “destroy” the auto industry in the United States, and this latest bit of news serves as yet another example.

“This irrational move towards electric vehicles – this manic move to electric vehicles is going to destroy the auto industry in America,” Moreno told Breitbart News Washington Bureau Chief Matthew Boyle during an appearance on Breitbart News Saturday in March, noting that the push in that direction is also benefiting other countries over the United States, including China.

Here’s the context, from March of this year:

On March 29, 2024, Good Friday, Biden’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rolled out its new electric truck mandate, which will require that electric semi-trucks make up an increasing share of manufacturer sales from 2027 through 2032, similar to its recent rule for passenger cars.

There’s a new report out though, from Roland Berger and published by the Clean Freight Coalition, which stresses the unaffordability and impracticality of the rules and regulations, as they stand:
