The crew is back for another episode of the podcast. Cel, Coach E, Addie aka “I got the views” and Emerson Haywood sit down and chop it up for episode 12. Coach and Addie give us the run down on the NC basketball scene. Cannon School led by Coach Roth wins the NCISAA 4A state championship. North Meck is on a tear after defeating Independence to reach the final 4 of the state playoffs. The fellas also talk NBA and catch up on what has been an exciting year for basketball.

Cel and Coach E are joined by E’s partners at The EAT Academy, The CEO Karlyn Dixon aka K.D, and Head Trainer and Head of Basketball Operations, Dijuan Harris aka DaPointGod. We discuss the EAT Academy’s history and how Erik and KD eventually linked up with DaPointGod. Dijuan Harris played basketball on the Collegiate and Pro Level he discusses his long journey to get to where he is today. The EAT Academy train some of the top talent in the Carolinas.

Cel and Coach E are joined by The Shotmaker’s videographer and engineer Adrian Addie aka Hezimelo. The fellas talk about Jaden Bradley from Cannon High School after getting some good footage from the #6 ranked player in the nation for the class of 2022. We also discuss Zions BIG Return, and The Kansas U/Kansas State big brawl. We also discuss the direction of the Shotmakers Club and the huge impact Hezimelo has had on the brand.

Cel and Coach E discuss the North Meck Powerhouse after their Victory over Vance High School. North Mecklenburg High is favored to win the NC State Championship. We also discuss the WNBA’s new CBA which will allow for a salary increase, Maternity Leave, and better Traveling conditions. We cap off the podcast by discussing current NBA Power Rankings!

Cel and Coach E are joined by our brother From another Emerson Haywood who after a few years in the DMV is back in the 704! We catch up and then discuss Melos big night capped off by a game winner against Toronto. Kevin Love’s Frustration spills over into the game. We get sidetracked talking about Coach E falling in front of everyone at a Westminster Catawba game LOL! The fellas talk about the Charlotte NC basketball scene, Sierra Canyon vs. Patrick School, NBA players who under achieved and they even take a trip down memory lane to talk about when they playing ball in high school. Cel and Coach E are Joined by Jahseem Felton the Nation’s #1 ranked player in the class of 2024 according to Coast2Coast Preps. Jahseem is a Charlotte NC native, an 8th grader at Westminster Catawba Christian School where Jahseem plays Varsity Basketball. Jahseem talks about the challenges he faced playing against older players and how much his training at EAT Academy prepared him to play Varsity Basketball.
