Our guest Youth Mentor and Personal Development Coach Antoine Nelson dives into the deep end of the pool as he shares his experience of being raised by a single mother, being incarcerated and turning his life completely around. He shares how he lost his innocence at eight years old to an older woman who babysat him and his brothers. Antoine shares how that affected the way he raises his children and the fact that he didn't realize anything was wrong with having sex at eight until he had his own children.
We also talked about the importance of mentorship for our young black boys. Setting examples for them in the community and teaching how important team work is.
