Jesus taught that His kingdom is not of this world, and likewise, the followers of Christ as not "of" this world even though we are still "in" the world. That being said, why would Christians even try to make the world a better place? Christians have done more to improve education, health, human rights, human dignity, and freedom than any other religion or philosophy of life. Why do this if all we care about is the next life?
