Access Louisville

Should sports come back yet?

Listen Later

It's nearly the first Saturday in May, but alas no Kentucky Derby.
On this week's episode of the Access Louisville podcast we chat about our favorite Kentucky Derby memories from over the years as well as what appears to be the slow return of sports.
Horse racing, sans the spectators, comes back on May 16. There's also talk about bringing back Major League Baseball and NBA basketball for this summer. We talk about the minor league Louisville Bats and it's prospects for a season.
As always, we don't just talk about one topic. We also go over Gov. Andy Beshear's plan to reopen many parts of the economy in May (and how restaurants were excluded from that action.)
Access Louisville is a weekly podcast from Louisville Business First. This week's show is hosted by Digital Editor David Mann, Design/Multimedia Editor Brooke Timmons and Reporter Marty Finley.
