Some people say that we shouldn’t be setting goals and some people say tat we should be setting goals.

 

There are theories that suggest that setting goals can lead to feelings of failure. Because when we set a goal and not achieve it, we start to beat ourselves up. And as we let the perceived failure get to us, we continue to beat ourselves up eventually leading to depression and a loss of inspiration and motivation. Some people question whether goals even exist because what happens when you reach your goal? You have set another goal which eventually means you’ll start to rely on setting goals to get anywhere.

 

Maybe the better way is to design a daily process that is tailored specifically to you to make sure you can continue using the process long term.
