This week the team talk to the LGBT Emotional Wellness group about coping with Christmas when it's not such a good time of year for you.

And the folks from Pennywise and Cashpoint join the team live in the studio to talk about budgeting for Christmas and coping with a tighter wallet in January.

In the second of our two show coverage of World AIDS day, this week Ivan talks to a man who caught HIV over 30 years ago. Back then, a lot less was known about HIV and AIDS and treatments certainly weren't as good as they are now.

And Bobby from HiBEARnation calls in to tell us of the weekend of event coming up.

So this week is the first of a two show special covering HIV and AIDS as this week and HIV awareness week and the 1st December is World AIDS day.

But before the conversations about that begun, Tom Marshman phoned in live to tell us about the events coming up this weekend under the banner of "Beckon, Icons and Dycons".

Then, all the way from London, the team were joined by PrEP activist Greg Owen. If you haven't heard of PEP and PrEP have a listen but as always, please ensure you do your own research and seek medical advice if you wish to use these drugs. Please also remember that PrEP is not a safe sex replacement.

Greg spoke to the team about the benefits of PrEP and PEP and what they are. There's loads more information, and his own personal thoughts, on his blog which we've linked to.

But things got going for this week's show which Steff, Nat and Tara put together to think about the trans experience in the week that marks Trans Day of remembrance. Cheryl joined us live in the studio to talk a bit more in depth about a breaking news story, as well as the events that have been organised to help mark the day.

Prominent Middle Eastern LGBT rights campaigner, feminist and writer Fadi Zaghmout speaks to Ivan about the challenges for gay and trans people, and straight women, in Arab countries and about his novel The Bride of Amman, out now in English.
