Since this is a very hotly-debated and controversial topic to discuss among my college students, I give my students an opportunity to present their perspectives -- PRO vs CON -- as to whether they feel it is their RIGHT to protest the President or it's un-American to protest President Donald Trump. Surprisingly, this issue became a part of the larger discussion when the President actually visited our campus during the summer of 2019! In order to maintain civility in the classroom however, I allow students to present their perspectives and then I follow-up with my potential solution.
