Show Me High School Football

Coach Beachler is entering his 31st year coaching and his 25th  year as a head football coach.  Coach Beachler is currently serving as the head coach at Nevada High School in Nevada, Mo.  Coach Beachler shares his extensive experience and expertise with us and shares how he gets kids to play so hard and how to change the character of young men after so much experience with defeat, his weight room philosophy and culture, his offensive philosophy and the influences along the way that shaped his philosophy, what he believes is the number one thing you want to accomplish when coming into a new job, and the importance of being consistent and fair across the board.

Over the past three seasons, Coach Matt Perkins and his staff, at West Plains High School, Mo. are31-6, have won back to back district titles, won two conference titles, have amassed over 5,000 yards offensively each season and averaged over 40 points per game.  Coach Perkins has been voted Southwest Mo class 4 football coach of the year the past two years.  

On this episode, Coach Perkins talks about how he and his staff get his players to play so hard for them, relationships, establishing a work ethic, getting the most out of his players, getting kids to want to win, taking over for a hall of fame head coach, and a little bit about his offensive philosophy with the empty wing t.

Coach Ary talks to us about establishing a winning mindset with your players and creating a work ethic that translates into confidence and success.  Coach Ary also talks about the transformation of Mountain Home in his first year as a head coach there.

Kurt talks to us about his career starting out at Webb City high school back in 1988 and how he and his staffs built successful programs.  He gives us insight on what he believes are the most important things to building a successful program and also talks to us about the importance of building quality relationships with players.  

Head coach Anthony Hays is a fantastic young head coach that brings a lot of energy and excitement into his football programs.  Coach talks about Character/Leadership education and his team's yearly themes that he utilizes in his program.

State champion head coach Derek Uhl talks about his philosophy with inside zone and how they found success using it both at the division 1 college level and at the high school level.  Coach Uhl brings a lot of knowledge about football and inside zone and discusses some wrinkles he has found success with at the high school level with inside zone.

Coach Will Christian talks to us about taking over a program that has little to no success and rebuilding it into a program with pride.  Coach talks about culture, core values, and what they had success with at Lebanon HS I️n rebuilding a program.  Coach Christian has been a head coach for 20 years and I️s a very respected coach I️n the state of Missouri.  He is loved by his players, other coaches, and his community.  Coach Christian has had tremendous success over his career and he shares with us some of his I️nsight and knowledge.
