Coach Beachler is entering his 31st year coaching and his 25th year as a head football coach. Coach Beachler is currently serving as the head coach at Nevada High School in Nevada, Mo. Coach Beachler shares his extensive experience and expertise with us and shares how he gets kids to play so hard and how to change the character of young men after so much experience with defeat, his weight room philosophy and culture, his offensive philosophy and the influences along the way that shaped his philosophy, what he believes is the number one thing you want to accomplish when coming into a new job, and the importance of being consistent and fair across the board.
Over the past three seasons, Coach Matt Perkins and his staff, at West Plains High School, Mo. are31-6, have won back to back district titles, won two conference titles, have amassed over 5,000 yards offensively each season and averaged over 40 points per game. Coach Perkins has been voted Southwest Mo class 4 football coach of the year the past two years.
On this episode, Coach Perkins talks about how he and his staff get his players to play so hard for them, relationships, establishing a work ethic, getting the most out of his players, getting kids to want to win, taking over for a hall of fame head coach, and a little bit about his offensive philosophy with the empty wing t.
