Chance Encounters is a brief emotional journey expressing the heightened emotion of that first meeting and the heightened elation felt when the connection is mutual. The Erhu (instrument) helps me express the longing for a meaningful connection; the piano carries the moment and the oboe expresses the energy built up in anticipation of exploring this encounter. My music is tied to my emotions and to be able to express your feelings through music is a true gift from the creator. My mom fought 18 months battling cancer with grace and a strong sense of self worth, never flinching and constantly pushing to do for herself. She stated many times that “All Is Well my her soul,” and this is my tribute to her, her love of piano and for supporting my music. God Bless my “Millie”!
