Show Pony Radio

Sarah and Katy sat down with Mike Hachtel. Whether you call him the color guy, Mystic Mike, or anything else, he's one great guy.

We have been sitting on this one for a while. Many, many people wanted to contribute to a memoriam podcast for industry legend Keith Whistle. As we all know and understand, coordinating the podcast is time consuming and challenging. This will be an ongoing project, but we wanted to let Shirley's story with Keith be heard.

The much anticipated interview with none other than multiple AQHA and Congress Champion western pleasure trainer Shane Dowdy is finally here! The Show Pony girls ask tough questions and Shane keeps it candid and real. Shout out to Shane for letting us in and putting your story out there ... in your words, on your terms, in true SD fashion ... oh ya, we talk about fashion too!

[Rated E for language and drug-related references].

The Show Pony girls sit down with our first female guest, Karen Hornick, to talk about the stories of her life. We sure had fun talking to our friend and NSBA Top 10 Open Western Pleasure Rider of all time (number 1 woman!) about what makes her tick.

Show Pony goes international and appoints our new honorary European Consultant Mark Shaffer to weigh in on CV-19. Mark moved to Milan, Italy by way of Pilot Point, TX and has been right in the middle of the global crisis. He explains how this impacts horse owners, European horse show enthusiasts, and people in general. Don't worry - he'll be back for more (fun) podcasting soon!

Sarah and Katy sit down with special guest Tim Zuidema and talk about how the quarantine has affected us. Keep positive and stay safe everybody!

This one was way over due, but as they say ... better late than never!
The Show Pony Girls sat down with our good friends Jeff and Erin aka 'Pep' in Ludington, MI over the 4th of July. Ahh, it reminds us of warm outdoor horse shows, cocktails, and friends. Listen to some funny stories and some rock solid advice on running a business and showing horses. P.S. congrats on the engagement and your many Congress wins (which happened after we recorded this gem for y'all). Cheers!

Justin Billings and Aaron Bovos of AQHA sit down with the girls and answer our toughest questions. Although things have been rough lately, the future looks bright. Listen in to find out where the association is headed during this time of transition.

The Show Pony girls sit down with longtime industry icon Ray Arnona. He talks to us about life, horses, and of course fashion.

The second part of John Boxell's sit-down with the Show Pony girls ... We talk all things Good Bar, western pleasure, and judging. Congratulations to Richland Ranch and John and Karen Boxell on the induction of 'Pops' to the AQHA Hall of Fame.
