With dreams of becoming an inventor from a young age, Olivia Lee the industrial designer has put Singapore industrial design on the map and is living out her childhood dreams in many ways. We chatted with her about her ethos and design journey.

Rachel Lim is an avid self-starter who founded Singaporean brand Love, Bonito as an online fashion business at just 19. Today Love, Bonito is a multi-million dollar International label where it is not just about fashion business but a business for women. Rachel uses her voice and her innate ability to engage, relate and connect with women, to amplify Love, Bonito female empowerment values. Rachel has been an inspiration to many and we were able to speak with her on her journey as an entrepreneur.

Pamela Ting, a former banker, and Jessica Wong, a designer, founded one of the most interesting Singaporean lifestyle brand, SCENE SHANG. SCENE SHANG’s philosophy of living well has guided its brand identity; from Asian contemporary furniture, home ware, and art to a recently launched scents range as a gentle nudge for everyone to be kind to themselves.
Athena founded and leads Zumvet — a digital health platform that leverages technology to democratise accessible pet healthcare. She was previously CEO of Doctor Anywhere and has consulted on various healthcare projects in Singapore. Athena, paw-rent of 3 cats, experienced challenges to get medical advice for her pets and decided to solve the problem head on. In 2019, she and doctor Grace Su launched ZumVet. To date, Zumvet has raised US$3.7 million in Series A funding.

Foreign Policy has won awards from D&AD, Tokyo Type Directors Club, New York Art Directors Club etc and have been active in the community creating projects such as Gallery&Co, The Space Program, Design Pasar, Design Diplomacy and most recently the Foreign Policy Summer School. Yah-Leng is a member of AGI (Alliance Graphique Internationale). Its members have been collectively responsible for the identity design of most of the world’s top corporations and institutions as well as for countless examples of globally known packaging, publications, illustration and posters.
