Combat medic in Ukraine, drove over two land mines and survived, but with permanent damage to his right ear, and cognitive brain damage, Brandon's life before the War was one of adventure and travel in Show Business. Demonstrating products around the world, Brandon with a few others make a living working weekends and long hours at Fairs, Shows and Exhibitions.

In Toronto for a couple of days, I offered Brandon a place to stay, and a few good home made meals and a chance to catch him up on what's been going on in the Pitch industry for the last couple of years, while he has been offering his services overseas.

Many of us have visited other countries, and probably know somebody who has visited many, but Stephen Fenech is the only person I know, who has visited, filmed, photographed and documented 196 countries in his 36 years of travel. Way too many stories to share in 24 minutes, but you have to listen to one story when Stephen had a gun to his heart, and wished he was anywhere, but there.

Joe Ades worked the streets of New York selling a $5 peeler from Switzerland, dodging local police and bylaw officers, and made a tidy little living do so. When Joe did get caught and fined, he looked at the payment as his rent, and continued on. Born in Manchester England, Joe learned his trade from grafters and pitchmen popping up in front of bomb sites, memories of WWII. Joe was one of seven children from a widowed mother, and started working at 15 years old.

My interview is with Joes, daughter Ruth who was left with a couple of thousand peelers, and set off to sell her Dads stock, and to share with us the experiences and stories she learned from her legendary father. RIP JOE!

Due to the sign of the times, Jogi is in midst of closing down this family owned business, and we talk about its inception, the success over the years that her late mother Jolanta experienced, and its final days.
