He currently serves as Director General of the Archconfraternity of Christian Mothers while continuing his full-time preaching ministry for the Capuchin Province of St. Augustine. During his visit to the Shrine to lead a retreat for the Poor Clares of Perpetual Adoration, Fr. Joseph once again joined the Adoration Sodality as Retreat Master for this Day of Recollection. He holds a Masters of Divinity and a Licentiate in Sacred Theology, from The Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception, the theological institution at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, DC. He is the prior of St. Catherine of Siena Priory in New York City, the Provincial Promoter of the Dominican Laity, and adjunct professor, spiritual director, and formator at St. Joseph’s Seminary in Dunwoodie, NY.

Our June Sodality Day of Recollection began with Holy Mass. In his homily, Fr. Ignatius Schweitzer, O.P. unpacked the Lord’s Prayer with a Trinitarian lens. In the “Our Father” - the very words of Jesus - He draws us into His own Sonship.
