A manager entered his office and heard a strange high pitch sound. 
有一个经理，才刚进办公室就听到一个很奇怪的、尖锐的声音。

Before he even put down his briefcase, he rushed around to each department, trying to find out where that sound was coming from. 
他连手上的公事包都没有放下，马上就开始跑到每一个部门，想找出这个难听的声音来源在哪里。

He wanted to know who was responsible for that terrible sound,And he was determined that he was going to scold him when he found out.
他也准备把这个制造噪音的家伙好好地骂一顿。

But no matter where he went, he heard the sound but he couldn't discover its source. 

不过，无论他去哪里，还是听到这个声音，找不到它的来源。

Finally he gave up, and he went back to his office. 
到最后他投降了，回到他的办公室。

He put his briefcase on his table and suddenly realized that the sound was coming from the pager inside his own briefcase, reminding him that the battery was getting low.
把公事包放在桌子上，那个时候才发现，声音就是从他的公事包里面的呼叫器发出的，提醒他电池快用完了。

He'd been so anxious to scold someone else. He had forgotten to take a good look at himself.
他那么急着要去骂别人，却忽略了好好看看他自己。

小故事·大启示：

我们责怪别人之前，最好先自我反省。
很可能别人做错的原因，就是因为误会或是交代不清楚。也很可能我们会发现，有比责怪别人更好的办法来达到目标。
