"Walking the Camino: A Journey Within"
I'm currently walking the legendary Camino de Santiago, starting from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port in France and heading west across Spain—on foot. Over the course of 30+ days, my path will lead me to the sacred Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, and finally, to the symbolic "End of the World": Finisterre.
This series is a daily audio journal—documenting not just the landscapes, towns, and stories I encounter, but the quiet transformations that unfold one step at a time.
oday’s walk took us through contrasts and revelations.
Someone’s feet were nearly on fire from the trek.
We stayed in a castle.
We climbed over a quiet hillside—where I tried to let go of everything. My body resisted, but my heart started to soften.
Then came Atapuerca—a UNESCO World Heritage site and the place where the earliest known human remains in Western Europe were discovered. I sat in a local bakery and tried a traditional pastry that tasted like memory and history.
As we arrived in Burgos, the great cathedral stood still and majestic—watching us, welcoming us.
Then suddenly, the sky cracked open. A surprise hailstorm hit us like a reminder: nothing here is predictable, except the road beneath our feet.
In the end, this walk is not about reaching a place—
It’s about returning to yourself, one moment at a time.
We keep walking—inward, and onward.
