Episode 8!
I JUST COULDN'T STAY AWAY. CURSE YOUR ROCKIN' TITS!
We cover an animated feature length film for the first time! And what better way to pop that cherry than with 1981's boob and gore-fest Heavy Metal. And if that's not brutal enough, we have Kyle Shutt (The High Way, The Sword) along for the ride in our space Corvette. We cover his history with all things nerdy and heavy, plus a whole lot more.
You can find Kyle's podcast and tunes here: https://linktr.ee/kyleshutt

Episode 7!
NO SIR, I DON'T LIKE IT!
I mean, what is there to say? We take a trip back to Highland (and wherever Ren and Stimpy are from) to breakdown what made two weird cartoons from the 90's become foundations for a generation of kids' personalities for years to come. Make some Powdered Toast, grab your LOG(TM) and put on some heavy metal. Fire is cool.
Just a small content warning, some themes surrounding abuse are mentioned in this episode.

Episode 6!
BERK! FEEEEEED ME!
In this lost Halloween-themed episode that we accidentally dropped down the trap door in the floor, we cover overworked blue idiots, vegetarian vampires and how everyone is just ripping off Thriller.

Episode 5!
DID YOU GET THAT THING I SENT YA?!
Taking a slight detour to a future beyond our childhoods (but unlike the dystopian Jetson's one), we are going over the two greatest Adult Swim cartoons, beloved by stoners worldwide. Metal elitism, nonsensical legal jargon and running gags galore. Beeoop!

CYCLOPS IS A WHINY LITTLE BITCH!
We discuss the greatest gong in TV theme history and a theme song that's trying so hard to be cool it hurts.

Episode 3!
WE CAN BE WINNERS IF YOU ONLY SING ALONG! Take a trip to absurdity city with giant worm abominations against nature, scatting mothmen, mystical egg beaters and a guy who has a chair as a face.

Episode 2!
NATURE CALLED AND WE DIDN'T CARE! Two of the most cringe-worthy environmental focused shows of the early 90's go under our microscope. We all know which show was the bigger hit, but the results of who has the better theme song may surprise you.

Episode 1!
A shaky start but things can only get better! We discuss possibly the biggest cartoon franchise of it's time, and another one that, well, has it's cult following perhaps? But most importantly, both theme songs are deliciously cheesy and catchy.

In this episode, I talked to Blues musician Dan Bennett about discovering his Indigenous heritage, his love at first sight for guitar and the struggles to find a pure, honest place among this land to create music. Dan also shares stories of American blues forefathers, his family's varied musical background and more.
Thanks to Dan Bennett, keep an eye out for him performing all over this land as Zac Daniels.

In this episode, I talked to Wollongong musician Daniel Brokenborough from the band Birdsville about growing up in a DIY punk scene, friendships among other kids who needed to create music to feel themselves, and the nerves that come from performing. Dan also unearthed a lot of stories about the scene from the 90's/2000's that have been lost to time.
Birdsville's debut album How To Lose Your Mind out now www.birdsvilleband.com
Thanks to Dan and Ana Brokenborough.
