What is it like to know the FBI is building a case against you, and hear agents breaking down your door?

Christian McKeon was charged in a $47 million Medicare fraud case and ultimately sentenced to federal prison. In Part 1 of our conversation, I wanted to understand what really happened behind the scenes: how the scheme worked, what it was like being investigated by the FBI, and the long, uncertain stretch between being charged and actually going to prison.

Christian opens up about the toll those years took on his mental health and personal relationships, how he tried to keep living his life with an unknown future hanging over him, and the fiancée who stood by him through all of it.

Then comes the part I couldn't stop thinking about: What is it actually like to walk into a federal prison camp knowing you aren't walking back out?

Christian takes us inside his arrival at Pensacola prison camp, the fears he had going in, how he adjusted to life behind bars, and what prison camp was actually like. We also get into the people he encountered there, including the surprising influence he says Chrisley Knows Best star Todd Chrisley had inside the camp.

This conversation isn’t about excusing what happened or rewriting history. Christian served his sentence and accepted the consequences. I wanted to hear his perspective and understand the human side of an experience most of us will hopefully never have to face.

My guest is Corey Palek, and her bravery at such a young age absolutely shook me. Corey was raised as a Jehovah's Witness, eventually left the religion, and at just 17 years old, became emancipated from her parents.

I have always been fascinated by high-control groups and the stories of people who find the courage to leave and rebuild their lives. And Corey's story is exactly that. It's heartbreaking, eye-opening, and incredibly inspiring all at the same time.

You have to hear the reason she decided to leave the religion and the events that ultimately changed the course of her entire life. And trust me, you also have to hear where she escaped to. It's almost like hiding in plain sight.

In fact, this episode and others like it have inspired me to work on something very special for Season 2 of Shut Up! Tell Me More, so stay tuned for that.
