Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. We’ve been concerned from the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic that governors were trampling on the constitutional rights of Americans to freedom of religion, assembly, and movement. Now it turns out the shutdowns may have been pointless. Research done by an Israeli mathematician reveals that the progress of coronavirus infections follows exactly the same pattern whether countries shut down, like Israel, or hardly shut down at all, like Sweden. The virus increases exponentially for six to eight weeks, then tapers off no matter what states do. Bottom line: we should let people who are well go back to work, and urge people who are sick to stay home and take hydroxychloroquine. Governors, open up your states and let America get back to work, while there is an America left to save.
