Rugby's struggles to survive in the West are well documented. At the Shute Shield level these concerns are growing rapidly and rumours of insolvency, misrepresentations and a breakaway from the West have been circulating. Western Sydney Two Blues manager Craig Morgan has been at the forefront of Western Sydney Rugby for a number of years and he sees a number of misconceptions about why Rugby is not where it should be in the region. Craig raises a number of interesting facts, backed by statistics which provide a more balanced but no less concerning outlook on the game in the West and in general.
