Ezra 6:1-22 The rebuilding project faced serious obstacles and potential roadblocks, but in the end the Providence of God made possible the renewal of temple sacrifices under the leadership of the appointed priests and Levites. Yet their labours were successful because of help from two pagan kings, one who inaugurated the project and the other who paid for its completion. Behind these human efforts loomed the overarching work of God, who moved in the hearts of the kings and encouraged his people through the prophets.

Lukas 14-25-35 Apabila kita memutuskan untuk mengikut Kristus dan menjadi murid-Nya, kita mesti membayar harganya dan kita mesti memikul salib kita. Untuk memikul salib anda, bermakna meletakkan kepercayaan anda sepenuhnya kepada Tuhan di tengah-tengah badai dan pertempuran dalam hidup anda. Luke 14:25-35 When we decided to follow Christ and be His disciple, we must pay the price and we must carry our cross.  To carry your cross, means to fully put your trust in God amid the storms and battles in your life.  It means that although you may be in an extremely difficult or painful situation, you always trust that God is with you in the midst of your suffering.

1 Korintus 15:3-11 (Khotbah Perayaan Paskah) Kerana pada masa itu jemaat Korintus "diganggu" oleh orang yang tidak percaya kepada kebangkitan maka penting bagi Paulus untuk membincangkannya. Pertama, kematian Yesus adalah asas keselamatan manusia. Pernyataan "Kristus telah mati untuk dosa-dosa kita" memberikan penjelasan jika Kristus tidak mati, maka manusia tidak mendapat keselamatan. Sehingga kini sentiasa ada orang yang meragui kematian dan kebangkitan Kristus.

Luke 24:36-41 (Easter Sunday Service Sermon) The resurrection was real, and it was physical.  It begins with Jesus` own words: “See My hands and My feet, that it is I myself.  But what does it matter for your hearers? Jesus` physical resurrection was good for Him, but unless your hearers have some advantageous connection to Him, the historicity does not matter much. This is where some apologetic attempts to demonstrate proof of a physical resurrection fall short.   Even if we had evidence of the empty tomb, the benefit of Jesus` resurrection for anyone beside Himself would still be a matter of faith.

Ezra 5:1-17 Menyambung semula pelayanan dalam menghadapi tentangan yang mengancam memerlukan kebijaksanaan dari Firman Tuhan dan keyakinan terhadap kepentingan dan kesahihan misi. Para nabi dengan penuh kuasa menyampaikan Firman Tuhan yang menyeru untuk memotivasikan orang ramai untuk memulakan semula projek pembinaan kuil dan untuk bertahan dan terus menjalankan tugas walaupun mendapat tentangan lebih lanjut. Ezra 5:1-17 Resuming ministry in the face of threatening opposition requires wisdom from God`s Word and confidence in the importance and legitimacy of the mission.  The prophets powerfully delivered God`s Word of exhortation to motivate the people to restart the temple building project and to persevere and remain on task despite further opposition.  Their conviction regarding the significance and legitimacy of their mission helped them in their interactions with the government officials that were raising critical questions.

Ezra 4:23-24 Melalui jenis taktik orang Samaria yang disebutkan dalam tinjauan luas Ezra 4:4-23, musuh-musuh ini berjaya menghentikan kerja pembinaan selama kira-kira 15 tahun. Sehingga tahun kedua pemerintahan Darius: Ini menunjukkan kepada kita bahawa kerja itu tidak berhenti selama-lamanya.
