Cs: Na Karlově mostě bylo rušno, slunce svítilo jasně na sochy světců a Václava řeka plynula klidně pod ním.
En: On Karlův most, it was bustling; the sun shone brightly on the statues of the saints, and the Vltava river flowed calmly beneath it.

Cs: Jitka přehlížela ten krásný pohled, ale v duši měla neklid.
En: Jitka overlooked this beautiful sight, but she felt uneasy in her soul.

Cs: Po letech strávených v cizině se vrátila do Prahy, aby se setkala se svými sourozenci, Markem a Klárou.
En: After years spent abroad, she returned to Praha to reunite with her siblings, Marek and Klára.

Cs: Jitka opustila Prahu, aby si splnila sen pracovat v zahraničí, ale teď jí scházela blízkost rodiny.

En: Marek stood aside and looked at the river.

Cs: Jitka se zhluboka nadechla a přistoupila k němu.
En: Jitka took a deep breath and approached him.

Cs: "Marečku, chyběl jsi mi."
En: "Marečku, I missed you."

Cs: "Vážně?"
En: "Really?"

Cs: odpověděl Marek.
En: Marek replied.

Cs: "Proč jsi tedy odešla?"
En: "Then why did you leave?"

Cs: Jitka cítila, jak se jí úzkost svírá na hrudi.
En: Jitka felt anxiety tightening in her chest.

Cs: "Promiň, že jsem nebyla zde," začala.
En: "I'm sorry I wasn't here," she began.

Cs: "Vždy jsem chtěla zjistit, jaké to je za mořem, ale nikdy jsem nezapomněla na vás.
En: "I've always wanted to find out what it's like across the sea, but I never forgot about you.

Cs: Chci se zase sblížit."
En: I want to reconnect."

Cs: Klára opatrně pozorovala situaci a cítila napětí.
En: Klára carefully watched the situation and felt the tension.

Cs: "Jsme rodina," řekla jemně.
En: "We are family," she said gently.

Cs: "Jsme tu pro sebe."
En: "We are here for each other."

Cs: Marek vzhlédl a viděl upřímnost v Jitčiných očích.
En: Marek looked up and saw the sincerity in Jitka's eyes.

Cs: "Možná jsem byl tvrdý.
En: "Maybe I was hard.

Cs: Ale chybělas nám.
En: But we missed you.

Cs: Mně taky."
En: I did too."

Cs: Slova visela ve vzduchu a Jitka vzala Marka za ruku.
En: The words hung in the air, and Jitka took Marek's hand.

Cs: "Odpusť mi?"
En: "Will you forgive me?"

Cs: zeptala se tiše.
En: she asked quietly.

Cs: Po chvíli Marek povzdechl a kývl.
En: After a moment, Marek sighed and nodded.

Cs: "Vždy jsi byla součástí naší rodiny," odpověděl a poprvé se usmál.
En: "You always were a part of our family," he replied and smiled for the first time.

Cs: Když se sourozenci objali, cítili, jak se mezi nimi obnovuje vztah.
En: As the siblings embraced, they felt their bond renewing.

Cs: Mostem zněly hlasy turistů, ale pro ně v tu chvíli existovali jen oni sami.
En: The voices of tourists echoed over the bridge, but at that moment, it was just them.
