In Episode 8 I reflect on freelancing for over 15 years and how it benfited my career.

I had the opportunity to build a website for the Princeton Sidewinders, a Okanagan Hockey League team from my hometown and it had me reflecting on all of the cool oportunities I've had running my side hustle agency.

In this episode I talk about side hustling. From working 2 hours per night and 6 hours per weekend on top of a 9-5 to starting a charity, a nonprofit, a tea company and ecommerce stores. This is why I do what I do and why I'm so passionate about it.

Over 15 years using Linkedin to build authentic relationships has taught me a lot about how to use it as a tool to create great business partnerships, acquire clients and get referrals. In this episode I talk about how a minor daily time investment can help you grow an amazing and authentic strategy on Linkedin to get new design, web dev, ppc, seo, and everything in between clients.

In this episode I discuss a quick idea to build a merch brand (clothing primarily) and sell print on demand items online. With a website, and a little bit of Facebook advertising I was able to generate just under $18,000 gross revenue in 3 months as a test. Print on Demand is the ability to upload designs and sell them online without having to hold inventory. They are printed on demand, as the customer orders them, and then shipped right to your customer from the vendor. It's become a saturated market but there are still ways to generate revenue with it.

I walk through the entire process, no fluff, no bs, every single thing I setup and the reality of what it took to sell just under 300 items...
