If you could choose your final meals, what would make the cut? In this episode of Side Quest, we break down our ultimate last meal lineups. 3 main meals, 2 drinks, and 1 dessert.
We talk about the memories tied to these meals, the people connected to them, and why certain foods stick with us. Some picks are serious, some are chaotic, and some probably say way too much about us as people.
What would be in your last meal lineup? Let us know in the comments!
In Part 2 of our 2025 Improv D&D reflection, we look ahead to what’s next. We talk about the future of the show, what changes and growth might look like moving into 2026, and the goals we’re setting for the next chapter of Improv D&D.
We also take time to revisit some of our favorite moments from 2025. The shows, the chaos, and the memories that made this year such a big one for us.
In Part 1 of our 2025 Improv D&D Reflection, we’re looking back at every convention we performed at this year and breaking down how each show actually went.
From Anime Milwaukee to Colossalcon North, we talk through the vibe of each con, what made each Improv D&D show unique, what surprised us, and the lessons we learned that carried into the next performance. This episode is all about the con-by-con journey. The growth, the challenges, and how performing in different rooms and for different crowds shaped the show in 2025.
If you’ve ever wondered how Improv D&D changes from con to con, or what we’re learning behind the scenes as performers, this is a full deep dive into that process.
Part 2 will dive into favorite moments, inside jokes, bigger reflections on the year, and what’s next for Improv D&D in 2026.
We kick things off with a dive into some of our favorite movies. Ranging from the sci-fi horror of Alien to the explosive action of Transformers and the larger-than-life chaos of Godzilla. Then in the second half, we shift gears into our ongoing D&D campaign, sharing what we imagine some of our characters look like, the real-life struggles of scheduling sessions, and where we think the story might be headed next.
Things get wild as we tackle the internet’s most chaotic debate: 100 men vs. 1 gorilla—who wins? Then we dive into the classic question of time travel: would you rather visit the past or the future? And to wrap things up, we each choose a fantasy world we’d want to live in (and maybe not survive in). It’s a weird one, but that’s what makes it fun.
