Welcome Back To Sidenote Suplex. Today’s Topic: History of Ivelisse and Thunder Rosa Heat, AEW Parts ways With Ivelisse and more. Ivelisse Says She's Been 'Let Go', Says Thunder Rosa Slandered Her Name In AEW, Talent Disputes Claims: On April 14th 2021, news broke that Ivelisse had been “let go” from AEW All Elite Wrestling. “History repeats itself, unfortunately. I speak up about mistreatment and get let go. Thats life.” Ivelisse stated via Twitter. That Tweet is now deleted. Ivelisse hasn't been used on television since the March 2 episode of AEW Dark and her tag team partner Diamante has been working singles matches over the past month. Ivelisse also stated on Twitter:”Nope, it was her being unprofessional, she had done the same thing in LU as well, and was unprofessional hurting my tag partner s jaw the next match and slandering my name the entire time at AEW” and in Fightful Select’s exclusive report Ivelisse stated, "I spoke up about mistreatment from a Coach, even to other women too, there were witnesses and I was the one suspended and left in limbo and just now let go, and nothing has been done at all the entire time about (Thunder Rosa) slandering my name the entire time in AEW and doing everything to sabotage my position there, I kept quiet, (Thunder Rosa) also has a history of getting involved with officials in order to get ahead which there was a lawsuit and everything in (Lucha Underground).” That statement confused many because The Lucha Underground lawsuit that was known seemed to be concentrated on pay disparities between the roster and nothing in particular to a situation with Rosa injuring a tag partner etc. Many on social media stated Ivelisse said that to create more hate towards Rosa and “continue to make Rosa look like the bad person.” Though she wasn't a regular presence on AEW Dynamite, Ivelisse and her partner Diamante won the AEW Women's Tag Team Tournament in 2020. The two defeated Brandi Rhodes and Allie in the finals, and it seemed like they would find their way to the top in AEW. However, Ivelisse's mounting issues with the coaches and Thunder Rosa led to her being pulled from programming, with Diamante becoming a singles competitor as of now. The Major Heat from coaches is said to have begun on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 episode of AEW Dynamite on TNT from Daily's Place amphitheater in Jacksonville, Florida, the AEW women's match between Ivelisse and Thunder Rosa saw things get physically heated between the two to the point where they reportedly exchanged actual legitimate shoot-style strikes at each other during various points. The incident took place when Ivelisse was uncooperative with Rosa while the latter was executing a seated surfboard hold transitioning into another spot. Apparently, Rosa did not appreciate the no-selling, which prompted the two women to begin exchanging shoot strikes. Sources also noted that Rosa and Ivelisse were having trouble getting along backstage prior to the match, which likely boiled over once they were actually in the ring, and particularly when things during the actual bout starting going south. Jealousy? Ego? Wrongful accusations? What are your overall thoughts on this situation?
