Nick began his journey at Fullerton College, where he built the foundation that led him through the police academy, advanced education, and into executive leadership in law enforcement. Now recognized internationally as an International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) 40 Under 40 honoree for his innovation, service, and commitment to community trust, Nick continues to lead with education at the center. Lupillo Ramirez, Sr. Director of Innovation and Product Development at Northgate Gonzalez Markets, began his food industry journey at Fullerton College. With over 35 years at Northgate, he’s risen from deli clerk to nationally recognized food industry leader, shaping Latino food trends and product innovation. A recipient of the Inspirational Food Leader Award, he’s now a sought-after expert and global speaker in the Hispanic grocery market.

Despite facing multiple setbacks—including scholastic dismissal and the challenge of balancing full-time work with his education—Jaime’s unwavering determination led him to not only return to Fullerton College but to thrive and build the foundation for a promising career in physics. Jaime fulfilled dreams of completing a fellowship at MIT and has even visited NASA Headquarters!

Krishna earned her cosmetology certification in 2019, an associate degree in cosmetology in 2020, and an associate degree in Communication Studies for transfer in 2023. Fullerton College played a vital role in supporting Krishna as she excelled both as a professional in the beauty industry and as an academic.

Today, we have the honor of speaking with Fabiola Rivera, an inspiring Fullerton College alumna whose dedication to animal care and science has led her to remarkable success. 

Fabiola Rivera is a first-generation college graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science. She has worked as an Animal Care Clinician for the Department of Defense and currently serves as a researcher in space medicine, studying the effects of space travel radiation. 

Join us as we dive into Fabiola's journey, her time at Fullerton College, and the incredible impact she is making in the world.
