As we finish our series on Fundamental Differences, Deacon Andy Trent , will discuss how a Christian is to give on the first day of the week.
Biblical giving should be understood by comparing (“juxtaposing”) modern religious practices with what scripture actually teaches, especially regarding tithing and New Testament giving. Tithing was part of the Old Law, Christians today are instructed to give on the first day of the week according to their prosperity, not by a fixed percentage, but with a willing and cheerful heart. Ultimately, the message highlights that giving is an act of worship rooted in sincerity and gratitude, not obligation or pressure.
We invite our listeners to join us in this biblical lesson and its application to our daily Christian lives.
