This Sunday we examine the last judgement against Egypt and part 1 of the Passover story.

It's really a reversal of the good order that God intended.  This week we dive into the Exodus story of the plagues in Egypt.

This week we continue to look at Moses' reluctance to God's call to lead the rescue of his people. We use some of the excuses Moses uses and it raises the question:  what does it mean for a Christian to be called by and to respond to God's call?

It’s no surprise from the details of Moses life to this point that he’s reluctant to believe that he is right man to lead people in any capacity.  Like Moses we often forget that the qualifications God is looking for might not be the ones we are look for.

There are many great life lessons in the book of Exodus.  Today we'll be reminded through Exodus stories (and the example of Jesus on the cross), that God can take the worst things in life and turning into the best things. (Suffering has purpose!)

Today we open our study in the book of Exodus.  Pastor Corbett walks us through how understanding the Exodus story helps us to better understand our relationship to God.

Courage.  Today we look at the speech from a man named Stephen that will be cost him his life.  His topic? Jesus.  We'll dive Acts chapters 6 and 7 as the story of the growth of the Church takes another turn.

In todays message (Acts 4:32-5:11) we're reminded that in life we face the same choice that Ananias and Sapphira had:  God’s way or ours.  When we follow God’s way, we (and the Church) can experience God working in and through us in an amazing way!  There is no other way to get the real thing.  We can’t experience God’s powerful presence in our lives by charting our own path in life.  We can’t have it both ways.

Today we look at the disciples commitment to prayer, the Spirit's leading and for courage amidst persecution.  How can these same things shape your life today?
