Having a foundation and direction each day is paramount in life and training. My son and I start the mornings with a 3 minute meditation to get a direction. It has helped me as a father. It has helped him in knowing his responsibilities and dealing with personalities at school. Working the mind, ultimate kung fu :)

Changing your environment, even for a weekend can stir your energy.

Each year for several years our Kung Fu family pack up and go to the beach to re-establish our practice.

It is not a publicized venture. It is time for longer Tai Chi Chuan practice. Lots of standing meditation ( Zham Zhuang ) and seated meditation for many too.

This year we focused on training Ba Gua Zhang on the beach, and Yi Chuan, Hop Gar as well.

We have students spread out around the country and we wanted them to have opportunities that would keep them involved when they had time.
