Sights on the Savior

In this episode we discuss the amazing talk by Elder D. Todd Christofferson entitled "The Sealing Power".  Elder Christofferson teaches truths about the sealing power and how they afford us the blessings of familial exaltation.  He talks about the justice, mercy, and love of God for His children and how the sealing power is a necessity for our return to Him. This is an excellent talk and was uplifting to study.  If you would like to read it, click here.  #sightsonthesavior #ldsgeneralconferece #sealingpower #elderchristofferson #thinkcelestial

In this episode we discuss the talk by Elder Carlos Godoy, For the Sake of Your Posterity. Elder Godoy shares a wonderful experience he has with a man named Omar and the story of Omar and his family and how they found their way back on the covenant path. We talk about how Elder Godoy and Omar's stories helped us to understand that there aren't coincidences and that God is in the details in our lives. We also talk about how important it is to live up to the covenants that we have made and to be bold in sharing how feel about the Savior.  Click here to read the talk.  #ElderCarlosGodoy #ldsGeneralConference #forthesakeofyourposterity #churchofjesuschristoflatterdaysaints

In this episode we discuss the talk by Elder Robert Daines entitled, "Sir, We Would Like to See Jesus." We share some personal experiences that have helped us see the Savior this week and then talk about the things that we loved about this talk.  It may surprise you to know that we both picked many of the same things.  Click here if you would like to read his talk.  If you can't tell from listening, we both LOVED this one. #ElderRobertDaines #ldsGeneralConference #churchofjesuschristoflatterdaysaints #Sirwewouldliketoseejesus

In this episode we discuss the talk by Sister Amy Wright, "Abide the Day in Christ".  We talk about the importance of having oil in our lamps, and how that oil is for much more than our own spiritual preparedness.  We also touch on the importance of life giving and sustaining "dew" and how we can ensure we are getting enough to keep growing our faith and testimonies. And finally how keeping our sights set on the Savior will help us Abide His Day.
