In our fourth episode, we are joined by Curtis Kim. Curtis is a graduate of British Columbia’s Institute of Technology from the Computer Science Technology Program and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from South Korea. Nowadays, he works for a Vancouver software company as a Computer Software Engineer carrying out full-stack responsibilities.
At the start of the pandemic, Curtis created several web applications to track COVID-19 data and provide the public with detailed information about the cases, particularly within Canada and the United States. Initially, he dedicated 48 hours straight developing the platform from scratch and many countless hours since to source ways for people to have a greater awareness of this worldwide health issue. In the last nine months, with a lot of media coverage in Canada and Korea, his site has provided valuable, up-to-date information to millions of viewers.
