President Cyril Ramaphosa has announced a significant shake-up in the management of State-Owned Enterprises, or SOEs. Ramaphosa has assigned shareholder responsibility for each SOE to the respective line-function Ministries. This reform aims to improve governance, oversight, and efficiency within SOEs.
