Welcome back! In this episode I discuss yet another name change, updates in my healing journey, entering my final year of undergrad, the importance of traveling, and more :)

In this episode I get to talk with the Executive Director of the Center for Asian Studies as well as the Program Coordinator for the Latin American and Latinx Studies Center at the University of Colorado Boulder, and get a better understanding of the resources that they offer to students of color to help them build community, and feel seen. 

In this week's episode, I get the opportunity to be taken out of the interviewer's seat and have a discussion about my experience and my white classmate's experience at the University of Colorado Boulder.

I was able to interview John Robinson-Miller IV about his role as Associate Director for The Center for African and African-American Studies here at the University of Colorado Boulder and discuss the significance of this program for students and faculty at a predominantly white institution.  We discuss the three main approaches, student service, research, and art. Above all, we discuss what it's like to experience black love within a place such as a PWI

In this week's episode, the girls and I discuss the pressures of having African parents, as well as what's expected of us as First Generation College students. We also discuss ways to cope with these pressures, including wellness and fitness, journaling, and meditation.

In this week's episode, we dive into both realms of affirmative action regarding being hired and accepted into colleges and Universities, specifically at the University of Colorado Boulder. What happens after affirmative action? I interview CU Boulder's Affirmative Action Officer and two diverse students for their thoughts.

I ask BIPOC students at Predominantly White Institutions (PWI's) about their experiences and journeys.
