Friends, there are various legends associated with Guru Nanak Dev ji’s visit to Nepal passed orally through generations there. Guru Nanak Dev Ji is said to have meditated at six locations in Kathmandu, and tiny temples memorialise these locations today.

Following a brief stay at Manikaran Sahib, Guru Ji and Bhai Mardana Ji travelled in the direction of the Himalayas, particularly Sumer Parbat. Sumer is the name for the highest mountain.
