People don't typically silence survivors by directly and outwardly saying that they don't care about violence. Instead, they often divert, invalidate, or question details or whole parts of a survivor's story. Gretchen Hunt has served survivors in many capacities.: as an attorney, an advocate, and even helped launch and lead a legislative survivor's council in the office of Kentucky's Attorney General. She joins us to discuss the common phrases and questions we hear.
