Silent Time

What is the foundation, what are the columns on which your life is built?

In whom or in what do you believe?

Only in your own abilities?

Or in “some kind of higher being”?

Who is calling you?

And: whose call do you answer?

Can a leopard remove its spots?

Do you pay attention to other people? Do you try to understand what is important to them, including their troubles and challenges?

How do you ask that question, which has been asked many times over the centuries?

Electricity can have a lot of power – if you allow it. For example it can bring light to the dark room, if you turn on the switch. If you do not allow the electricity to work, it remains dark.

Same for the word of God: it can have a lot of impact – if you allow the Lord to work, it can brighten up your life. If you do not allow him, it remains dark.

A short conversation among so much other talk, amidst so many other long speeches and lots of chats.

A short conversation, yet the topic is much more relevant than other talk.
