  • ANTEBELLUM RECONSTRUCTION 09/21/2019
This Saturday, September 21, 2018 on Behind the Blue Curtain   Mr. Robert Pearson will be our guest.  At 74 years old, Mr. Pearson has been a fixture at the Waco Municipal Airport in Waco Texas shinning shoes, carrying luggage and providing tourist tips to visitors for 14 years.  Suddenly he’s gone! Mr. Virgil Bell and his wife  Kay Bell will also be joining us form Waco Texas where Virgil is known by the the Citizens as "The Praying Man".  I call him Moses on the Brazos.  Virgil stands over IH 35  and prays over vehicles as they pass by, or persons in any weather, at anytime and virtually anywhere.  Why? What makes this simple man care so much for so many?  We'll also talk about  what I call “Antebellum Reconstruction” AKA  Community Improvement, City Beautification Projects, Community Development, Urban Renewal or Eminent Domain.  America is in a wave of city improvements that  benefit the local rich.  White flight is a term that originated in the United States, starting in the 1950s and 1960s, and applied to the large-scale migration of people of various European ancestries from racially mixed urban regions to more racially homogeneous suburban or exurban regions. The term has more recently been applied to other migrations by whites, from older, inner suburbs to rural areas, as well as from the U.S. Northeast and Midwest to the milder climate in the Southeast and Southwest.  Now these people want to live on the river or in a downtown studio apartment.  Only problem is poor people mostly, but not exclusively African American live there.   The call-in number is 646-716-4621.  Press 1 if you’d like to join in the conversation

  • Claudia P Lynch, Esq. Legal Shield 09/14/2019
Ever wonder what “should” happen on a traffic stop?   Your mind is playing out “what if” scenarios.  At that point you come to the realization that YOU DON’T KNOW YOUR RIGHTS.  This Saturday September 14 on Behind the Blue Curtain we have a very special guest.  Ms. Claudia Lynch, Esq., will be joining us.  For the past 20 years Claudia served with the Department of Defense (Army) as an Attorney - to include Active Duty time as a JAG.  Claudia left the DoD in January to focus on community awareness and justice. Claudia has an impressive legal background.  Claudia was deeply moved when Sandra Bland was killed.  Claudia said, “I prayed for an opportunity to be part of the solution to the senseless killings of Black and Brown citizens.”  A few months later Claudia learned about LegalShield and saw an opportunity in its emerging access feature to save lives. “It struck me that if Sandra Bland had the opportunity to get an Attorney on the phone during what should have been a routine traffic stop that day, she may have survived that encounter.”
Claudia’s personal website is http://ClaudiaLynch.LadiesofJustice.com  Join us this Saturday 11 am Eastern and 10 am Central.  The call-in number is 646-716-4621 and press 1 if you’d like to join the conversation.  Please be mindful of background noise.  The whole Family will be in the house:  Tyrone K Dunmore, Cassandra McDonald, Esq, Retired 32 Year Chicago Homicide Detective Joseph Moseley, Walter Gus Glover, The Facebook Live Crew and YOU!  So, call in and say what’s on your mind.
