  • The Prayer Path - New Features Announcement
Hello. Thank you for visiting The Prayer Path - You are most welcome. The mission of The Prayer Path is to create for you an auditory pathway upon which you can spend some time in a personal, intimate and loving encounter with the divine however you have come to understand that presence in your life ….or may be still seeking that understanding – everyone is welcome on The Prayer Path.
    New Feature 1
If you've been with us from the beginning you know that each Wednesday we bring you a new Path upon which you can make a prayer journey. The Path is usually about 30 minutes long, give or take a minute or two. From Wednesday the 18th of September, in acknowledgement of those of you who have busy lives and time constraints, we will introduce a new feature whereby, in the show notes of the episode we will provide you with a timed running order for the Path This will allow you to join the path at a timing point of your choosing and move around freely on the path to shorten your journey if you wish.
    New Feature 2
We are also delighted to announce that from Sunday the 22nd of September we will introduce another new feature called The Narrower Path. The Narrower Path will be a new shorter Prayer Journey with minimal introduction, a short time of preparation, the prayer and some reflective silence. The Prayer Path Peace prayer will be a feature of all Prayer Path Journeys.
Thank you again for visiting The Prayer Path. Have a peaceful Journey.

  • The Ground of Our Being - Meister Eckhart
Hello my name is John and you are most welcome to this weeks episode of The Prayer Path.
For this weeks prayer I am using a meditation prepared by Diane Rutter of Contemplative Fire (https://contemplativefire.org/). It draws upon the wisdom phrase of Christian Mystic Meister Eckhart where he refers to the Divine, whom Eckhart names as God, as the Ground of Our Being.
As you prepare to set out on your Prayer Path journey today I am inviting you to settle yourself in a posture that will enable you to feel, preferably your bare feet, firmly planted on the ground. This of course is your choice, being comfortable and at ease is much more a priority.
When you have concluded your Prayer Path journey I would really appreciate it if you could take a moment to maybe use the voice message function and leave any comments or reflections about your experience on The Prayer Path. If you like The Prayer Path please do hit the like button, share it with others who you think might like it and subscribe to receive all future Prayers. The Prayer Path is now available on multiple platforms including iTunes, Spotify and Google Podcasts and you will also find The Prayer Path on FB(@PrayerPath1), Instagram (@PrayerPath1) and Twitter (The Prayer Path #ThePrayerPath)
Thank you for visiting The Prayer Pat. May the peace and love of The Divine be always with you and your loved ones and the whole of creation. Till you join me next time on The Prayer Path.
    Good Bye.
